The community center offers a variety of well-structured programs, particularly excelling in children's activities. Every Saturday, my child eagerly participates in the hip-hop classes, which are conducted by passionate and skilled instructors who create an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. While the waiting area can get a bit crowded with parents during these sessions, it does not diminish the positive community atmosphere.
Additionally, the small park next to the building is a wonderful spot for children to play and for parents to relax while waiting. The staff members are always friendly and efficient, ensuring that the programs run smoothly. Overall, this is a fantastic resource for families, offering enriching activities that keep children active and entertained during summer.
Great customer service. Receptive staff at the front desk. Good parking but it can get crowded sometimes.
After a few back and fourth emails with no resolution unfortunately I’ve had to come to google to write this review.
I signed up my child for a program, on the first day the instructor was absent causing the program to start late and have no schedule/structure at all.
After the first day of disappointment I decided not to bring back my child to this program I asked for a refund because we only attended 1 non complete/late class and was met with that they wouldn’t refund because I asked too late and that I didn’t ask for a refund 7 days before the class started.
Had I known there would be no instructor present on the first and the class would start 10 minutes late making all the kids waiting outside the gym very upset and restless I would have cancelled weeks in advance also it would be impossible to do so as I was on a wait list to get into the program in the first place.
I spoke with Wynne Ollerenshaw Office & Program Assistant and Stephanie Derka Volunteer Program Lead - Fitness, Music and Dance both employees did not offer any sort of solution only reappearing what the other had said, incredibly unprofessional and I would not recommend/or support this community centre I am also looking at different avenues on getting a refund.
Good verity of kids programs, free car parking, good yet affordable coffee machine
They have so many programs and amenities. My wife and i really enjoy going the thursday market. They were even serving coctails last time we went!
