Printing Tickets

Designing and printing your Stag and Doe tickets shouldn't be a black art! You can hire someone to design your tickets, but most people will do it themselves or use a simple event ticket template.

Before you get started - make sure you book your DJ before you start printing tickets. Many DJ companies will have packages that include tickets and banners.

If you are computer savvy, you can always buy the paper and print them yourself. You can buy pre-perforated sheets of event tickets or business cards and run them through your home printer.

What to include on your Stag and Doe ticket:

• Start and end time
• Location including address
• Name of the couple or organization
• Price of the ticket

Extras you may want to add:

• A map to the venue
• Price of drinks
• Name of the DJ or band, if notable
• Any stand-out prizes
• Ticket number on opposite corners for the door prize draw
• What time to arrive before to be entered for the door prize
• Indicate if it's an 18+ event
• "Late lunch", "Silent Auction"

Advertising

In Ontario, you may not advertise an event under a Private Event Special Occasion Permit (SOP). This includes advertising to the general public, or having it listed as a public event on social media. The event must be restricted to invited guests only.
