Games

Every Stag and Doe party needs games!

You'll need a gaming license to run a raffle or game of chance. Nothing here is legal advice, I've grouped games by skill/chance based on my gut feeling, not a legal definition. Depending on your location, you may or may not be able to obtain a gaming license for your event. Check out your local alcohol and gaming commission (for example, the AGCO in Ontario, or the LCGA in Manitoba) for more information.

Game prizes may be physical items, or money. With money, it's often the game's entry fee collection, split 50-50 between the game winner and the wedding couple. Game entry fees are often quite low: $1 or $2.

We have some suggestions for games to play at your event. They are roughly grouped by type - games of chance, games of skill, and games with silly prizes (make the happy couple sing!) or punishments (loser gets a pie in the face!).
