Really nice and clean facility, with friendly and helpful staff. I love seeing local art on the walls for sale! I enjoy coming for the recreation swimming; though the hot tub is typically super busy and (sometimes) a little grimy. Otherwise, lovely space to go for a swim and check out!

Best equipped public aquatic facility in central Ottawa. Parking is sometimes insufficient, especially in the warmer months (when the basketball courts are open). Fins, pull buoys and flutter boards are provided. The reception staff is invariably helpful. Change rooms are clean. The main fitness pool is 25 meters long and wide enough for about 6 lanes. The water temperature is moderate.

Nice pool with lots of natural light.
But, all the glass makes it very noisy and many of the clients don't have good pool etiquette- spitting on the deck, in the pool and in the showers. Unfortunately I did see a person peeing in the shower which is pretty disgusting. Not much parking and very few accessible spots.
Won't go back unless SPLEX is closed.

Great place to have a hot tap with a 30-minute swimming pool.
And great people and good locations, But needs more parking the! The city should consider parking more parking.

Bright spacious open swimming space. Clean, well kept change rooms. Accessible and dynamic drop-in Aquafit classes. Highly recommended.
Formerly known as the Plant Bath, this historic building located in the heart of Centretown West, underwent extensive renovations and re-opened in 2004.
