Really nice and clean facility, with friendly and helpful staff. I love seeing local art on the walls for sale! I enjoy coming for the recreation swimming; though the hot tub is typically super busy and (sometimes) a little grimy. Otherwise, lovely space to go for a swim and check out!
This is a beautiful complex and there is a perfect pool for toddlers. It has a consistent depth and warm water. The lot pool is often busy and the water is too warm for me if I’m doing over a kilometer. That said, it’s perfect for other people, and I know that my friends who attend the aqua fit are thrilled with it.
Best equipped public aquatic facility in central Ottawa. Parking can be insufficient, especially in the warmer months when the basketball courts are open. Pull buoys, flutter boards and some sizes of fins are provided. Reception staff is very helpful. The men's change room is clean and there is a universal change room. The main fitness pool is 25 meters long and wide enough for about 6 lanes. The water temperature is moderate.
It’s been 40 years since I swam at Plant Bath, and everything has changed! Large pool plus wading pool and hot tub. Good change-rooms, with a few changing cubicles, two accessible shower stalls, lots of hair-dryers and lockers (some can take your own lock; others cost a quarter). Lane swim, senior rate, cost only $3.75 - very good deal. You can reserve a spot online in advance. On a rainy July Monday, 11:30-1:00 pm time slot, there were three or four swimmers per lane.
Amazing public swimming. That's really all I gotta say since that's all I do there. And the vending machines after swimming feels godly
Formerly known as the Plant Bath, this historic building located in the heart of Centretown West, underwent extensive renovations and re-opened in 2004.
