This is my first time at Grimbsy arena and I’m watching the Peach Kings and Port Dover Sailors.
On the Grimbsy side there is heat and nice and warm, but on the Port Dover side NO HEAT !!!
I spoke to an elderly gentleman in the arena booth, the security guards and 2 ladies at the front desk whom were not even interested in my story. This is total BS and can’t believe this is happening. So I’m giving a 1 star, ⭐️ but you should get ZERO stars for this on Friday November 15/ 2024 . I certainly hope that someone responds back to this review !
Heat is never on, and seating in East pad is terrible.
Nice clean new-ish arena (double pad).
Decent parking. Two pads with seating on one side of rink only. Small elevator for accessible seating on East side only
Spray pad out front for summer fun.
Rink seems nice .. quite cold though...
My son takes skating lessons here with CanSkate. Parking is tricky around 6:00pm, so arriving only 15 minutes earlier works better for us. We put his skates on in front of the snack bar, and there is lots of room in that area. The dressing rooms are a little stinky and intimidating to a 3 year old. The rinks are comfortable for parents to stay and watch.
Large facility and community hub with 2 arena pads and the ability to host events small and large.
