I came to this place to do swimming, the facility is very clean, the bathrooms and change rooms do not smell bad compared to Walter Baker or Minto Recreation Complex.
There were many people at the pools, practicing water polo, diving, and swimming. The costumer service is also very well, and the people who work here are all nice.
Overall, this place is a very nice place to go swimming and do other activities such as skating, hockey, diving and many more.
I highly recommend this place for any activities.
Doll and miniature show was a little disappointing and offered very little in the way of miniatures which was my focus. However I did enjoy a hobbyist display of collectible dolls but none were for sale.
Nice multi-sport complex in a great, accessible location.
Huge amount of parking and clean washrooms available on site.
We were here for a diving competition, so I cannot speak to the quality of the arena and the associated locker rooms. The curling area looks spectacular and would encourage me to pick up that sport.
The diving area is dated but still very functional. No wheelchair access though. The spectator viewing area is very close to the diving boards.
What was really missing is any 1990s technology like... projection tvs or similar to she scores, dive replays, or anything remotely modern... in retrospect the lights have been updated to LEDs so that's at least something.
Is there a way to make the booking of the pickelball courts more fair? I try to book every week for my son and I to play for Friday after school and they are all booked up.
