Went in tonight, fun atmosphere and a great setup. Wasn't sure what I was feeling on the menu. Told my server Joseph what my top three picks were, he correctly recommended I hit up the steak and buffalo chicken fajito combo. I rolled up a steak one and thought I was in heaven. Then I rolled up the buffalo chicken, and knew I was there. Great portion size, left full but not stuffed.. the shells were warm, fresh, and moist, and the condiments were great. The shredded cheese maybe could have been a hair fresher on the grating, but didn't detract from the flavour.
I was honestly shocked by my experience here last Saturday. In a positive way of course.
I never really had a great experience at any Lonestar, like ever. This time, I was pleasantly surprised by my waiter's attitude and attentiveness (props to T-Bone).
The ribs I had were far from best in-class, but waayyy better than I had before and my request for extra bbq sauce was respected and that elevated the experience.
Maybe I will consider being a repeat customer for this kind of experience. Great job.
The waiter provided excellent service, making our experience even more enjoyable. The fajitas were absolutely incredible, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I visited with a group of friends, and we all agreed that the quality of the food, combined with its reasonable price, makes Lone Star a place we’d gladly return to.
Honestly...
I don't like writing bad reviews, but I have nothing to do today. When the marketing done says it's Texas Grill, you can have expectations to eat like in Texas but...surprise, I laughed with tears...Canadian Texas bar and grill...:)))with Mexican influence.
Don't get me wrong, Mexican food is amazing but I don't even dare to try it after I had this experience.
I ordered a brisket sandwich...it has nothing to do with Texas brisket plus it was chopped like chicken food.
Juicy? you can forget about this characteristic, dry, very dry. Everyone knows that if you add spices, you give the food a taste, but in no case can it be called brisket. Preparing brisket is a skill and not everyone knows it.
The waiter was nice, he knows what he's doing, but I waited a while to receive the food, I had the feeling that they went to buy the food from another restaurant...I don't even want to think what would have happened if I ordered something complicated.
I ate because I was hungry...I hadn't eaten for more than 20 hours and time didn't allow me to make any other comments or refuse the food...at least the french fries and coleslaw tasted good like at Costco:)))
The interior is nicely decorated, nothing to say...I laughed with the waiters and showed them what brisket means in Texas,
It's embarrassing to pretend to be a Texan restaurant/bar grill, to be located in Canada and to offer only marketing... it's shameful

Service was very friendly and quick. Food was typical of this type of restaurant, but very tasty! Got the fajitas as suggested and was not disappointed. They have Margarita flights which I think is so cool! Waitress went above and beyond. Recommend 10/10
We came here on a Saturday for a late lunch / early dinner and a couple of tables were full; but, by the time we were leaving, not many tables were empty and they have an extensive dinging area. They also have a private dining room on the second floor that you can book for events.
The staff are friendly and helpful although the service could be quite faster as it could be tough to attract the staff’s attention.
We chose “Dine for Two!” Option which gives you the option of 1 appetizer, 2 mains and 1 dessert (from selected menu) for $59.99 which is a good price. We ordered “Tableside Smashed Guacamole and Chips” for appetizer, “Grilled Chicken Fajitas”, “BBQ Back Ribs; 2/3 Rack” for main and “Churros” for dessert. It was fun to watch the guacamole being prepared and also to be able to choose/remove the ingredients. The food was fresh snd tasty with good portions. Would definitely want to come back!
From entrance to getting seated, the staff was quite attentive, and the environment quite comfortable and relaxing... there were not many patrons when we entered, but the restaurant quickly filled up after the rain when we were leaving. Expansive seating area and the menu are also family-oriented.
We ordered BBQ pork ribs and a Fajita bowl. We were started off with warm tortillas with a garlic tasting tomatoe dip. The drink menu we used was a variety of margaritas seemingly appealing but not to expectations. They were just too acidic (sour tasting), drowning the welcomed tropical refreshing feeling.
Our main course came to us within acceptable time. The BBQ pork ribs were juicy, tender, flavourful, and delicious. It is very unfortunate that the Fajita bowl was horribly presented, and like the looks and smell, the taste was just as horrible. The food (Fajita) did not smell or taste like it was freshly prepared.
Exceptional customer service from Gambler and Crush, just picked up the phone ordered my shrimp 🍤 fajita. Popped over, it was already for pick up! No waiting around, efficient coordination & team work!!. They even recognize me when I walked in. I’m impressed
Kudos to all of you and thank you very much for my delicious shrimp fajita and birthday cake DELISH lime cheesecake .
Highly recommend this location.
Feather in your cap for your commendable Customer Service & attention to detail.
I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but had found out this place has delicious frozen margaritas and it did not disappoint! We shared a pitcher which was about $45.
There are lots of different flavours available. A big menu - standard stuff well prepared. I had the taco salad with beef and my friend had a enchilada. The patio is pleasant since it’s not right beside the road and has some lovely flowers. It was pretty quiet. Service was very friendly. Wheelchair accessible patio.

We had a wonderful lunch today! Junior is an exceptional server! Even though you were short staffed, the servers worked very well together. Delicious food and the 2 can dine for $60 was such a great deal! We'll be back :)
Not the same as it used to be. One of my fave things about hitting a lone star was always the complimentary guacamole and chips ..which they now charge around $15 for. Supposedly heightened due to it being mixed table side.
Got a steak fajita for 2 “deal” and a couple margaritas. I just don’t feel the food meets the $$ anymore. Staff were great…food was mediocre.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to the service. Our server had difficulty taking our order, requiring us to repeat ourselves multiple times. Also my friend inquired her dish is missing, we learned that her order had been lost, prompting her to cancel it. My friend didn't want to eat after everyone else had finished eating.
To make matters worse, the food that did arrive was incorrect. The manager came and apologized, but the server who had caused the situation acted as if it was none of her business.
Additionally, she seemed unfamiliar with processing the gift card, taking both the gift card and cash without returning with a receipt, which only added to our frustration.
Despite the poor service, the server expected more tip. The food was not bad and the atmosphere was nice, but the service was terrible. Overall, this experience fell far short of our expectations, and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our visit.
Nice meal with friends 🧡 taco tues & margaritas on the rocks & nachos with beer! Perfect evening to dine on patio! Thanks to "Rain" our waitress...very attentive. Tacos & nachos were delish!!
Recommend 👍👍
There was no host to greet us, but soon a manager jumped out after 5 minutes to seat us. The service was good, the waitress was very nice and had good communication. However I feel like they have very preppy employees. The food was average, potentially even below average. The spicy dishes weren’t spicy. The proportions were smaller than I had anticipated by their prices. The alcohol was expensive, 2 beer ran about 26$. And just generally the El Paso wrap I did have felt like I could have got a bacon cheese melt from Dairy Queen and still ate the same thing. Overall it was ok.

Our service was great and our server suggested activity options in the immediate surrounding area (level 1 for games) food was good 👍 some of the beef had too much grizzle and it was surprising and unpleasant for the price, the quality of meat was subpar in comparison to the menu price and didn't meet my expectation. When the crew came out to sing happy birthday, we were startled and it was very loud and distracting.
An Ontario Tex-Mex chain so if you have been in one then they are all the same. The food was spot on expectations, I had the fajitas, and they were good. The bartender was efficient and nice and the beer was cold. So all in all a good experience. I will say they may need to stream clean the actual bar area because the amount of fruit flies was a bit disturbing
The food was great but the experience was tainted by the lack of service while we were eating there. No one came by ask if we wanted another drink or even came by 2 see how our food was.And then we had to wait about 15 minutes to get the check at the end
This place is great, Lone Star Texas Grill I was unfamiliar with your game. I love a little fusion and Tex Mex was it for this meal. My friends split a fajita and it was very enjoyable. I personally paired my portion with a classic ginger ale but my friends sampled many beverages including in their float. Is everything bigger in Texas? Maybe, I haven’t been but the food at Lone Star made me a believer imagine dragons. Thanks to the cyber net for pointing us here
Worst woke server ever. She kept interrupting me. She wouldn’t get the manager to resolve our ordering issue. She then said I was impolite. I looked at her and told her I’ve been calm and polite. She then realized that she was disrespectful and cried in front of us. She then decided to go see the manager and the situation was resolve rapidly by combining two items on the menu. Maybe the waitresses need more training as to how to behave with customers.
